Lafayette and Macon County Expand Their industrial Park

On July 25, 2022, the city of Lafayette and Macon County invested to expand their existing Industrial park by acquiring an additional 130 acres. 

The investment was the result of a grant provided by Tennesee's Department of Economic and Community Development and years of due dilligence work produced by the community, Upper Cumberland Deveopment District, Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association, Tennesee Valley Authority, Tennesee's Department of Economic and Community Development, and Tennessee Central Economic Authority. 

With the acquisition of the property, the community can attract new investments and jobs for its citizens. We look forward to helping grow those economic opportunities for the community.
